Ventures are defined as multistage implementation plans listing the resources required to trigger revenue streams or investment for subsequent stages. Rather than seeking funds for a pool, this allows suppliers who can fulfill the requirement directly or investors to provide the amount required to purchase the required resource.

Public sector tenders against which we can pitc this requirement are sought as well as an exclusion from FSMA investor qualifications for micro-investment below a certain amount.

The Funding Gap

There is a lot of disagreement on whether an early stage funding gap really exists, but for the many entrepreneurs and innovators who cannot meet the minimum criteria for consideration by the existing investor community (an experienced management team, a developed product or service offering, possibly forward orders and most importantly, potential for exceptional growth), ...it definitely does exist.

Of all business plans submitted, only 2% ever go on to successfully raise funding. The current promoted solutions such using 'friends and family money' or 'sweat equity' (working for free) many people. Older, more experienced individuals may be dissuaded by family commitments. Younger entrepreneurs may not have adequate savings to work for free.

In this environment, many viable concepts and part-complete propositions never see the light of day, so despite the currently successful investment into promoting innovation...many entrepreneurs quickly lose interest when they realise the difficulties of setting up a business whilst continuing to support themselves and their families.

Our solution creates a new 'part invested' market...just when traditional ones are drying up as a result of the credit crunch. Suppliers can invest a percentage of the price of their products or services (usually some or all of their profit) in ventures that have been pre-validated en masse by all of the micro-investors.

Using our deferred payments and profit share rights trading platform, they can co-invest alongside capital investors to meet their immediate cash flow requirements.

As the workless are more likely to accept the receipt of some deferred payments as they have less to lose than a conventionally employed person, the solution is likely to attract more of these individuals.

As the implementation plan specifies resources in terms of defined outputs as opposed to time periods, the immobile and single parent families can pitch to fulfill requirements from home where feasable.
